We have never been to Jacksonville, and from what I have seen online, the southside is the safest area. Is that right? Our children are 6, 3, and 2, so elementary schools are most important – we would do public, not private. Also we don’t want to spend more than 200K on a house. Looking online, you get a lot more house for your money in other areas. So if we were to go North, West, or East, which specific places would you recommend? And also which specific areas would you avoid?

It’s the age old desire – great house in a great neighborhood for the least cost lol!
